DJ Absolut
DJ Absolut got his foot in the door while interning at an up-and-coming magazine called Stress in 1997, where he learned the ins and outs of the business. Eager to do whatever it took to make it, Absolut did anything and everything while working for free. The hard work definitely paid off and now you can hear him every Wednesday night on HOT 97's Absolut Heat.
When Absolut is not on the box, you can pick up one of his mixtapes that hit the streets every two weeks.
DJ Absolut is also affiliated with one of the best DJ crews in the game, The Heavy Hitters. He has been featured on MTV, BET, The Source, Vibe and XXL magazines. In addition, production is a major priority for Absolut and his company “ Addicted for life.” With production as a major priority, DJ Absolut is in the works to release a debut album due out later this year on Koch Records.
