50 Cent was recently involved in a cryptocurrency scam after being hacked and at least $3,000,00 has been stolen from innocent parties. The Power creator immediately denied claims that he was involved in the fraud. The rapper’s ThisIs50 website and his X account has been taken over by a group of swindlers. On Friday (June 21), Fif hopped on Instagram to clear up any confusion.

“My Twitter & Thisis 50.com was hacked I have no association with this Crypto,” he wrote. Additionally, he shared screenshots of his social media posts — along with one regarding a fake $GUNIT meme coin that had been linked to him. He continued: “Twitter worked quickly to lock my account back down. Who ever did this made $3,000,000 in 30 minutes.” To date, the website is still offline.

“I have no association with this,” 50 Cent Says

In other news, despite the recent hiccup, the rapper’s other endeavors are doing quite well. Fif and his G-Unit crew, are coming together to help with housing access to residents in Shreveport, LA. A few weeks back, KTAL reported that the rapper and G-unit will purchase nearly two dozen properties throughout the city. The goal is to bring a “vibrant community” back to downtown Shreveport. Gerod Durden, a local real estate agent who’s working with Fif says this is a passion project for the rapper.

“We’re looking at a grocery store in the immediate downtown Shreveport area,” Durden told the news outlet. He continued: “And those are ideas we’ve come up with together with the whole team and saying, ‘What can help the community?’” According to KTAL, the “Wanksta” rapper’s revitalization plan entails three phases. Not only will the revitalization of the city, offer access to affordable housing, but it will implement programs for children in the community. Fif went on Instagram to share his excitement and a clip of the news story of his upcoming projects: “Betting on me is not a gamble, it’s a sure thing Sherevport is up next,” he wrote.
