Ali Siddiq has become one of the hottest acts in comedy behind his hugely popular Domino Effect series.

The Houston comic released the fourth installment of the series on Father’s Day. The latest comedy special has generated close to a million views on YouTube in days. Previous parts of the series dived into the 50-year-old childhood, life as a street pharmaceutical rep, and incarceration.

According to the description, the two-hour stand-up finale tells the true stories of Ali Siddiq’s last few years of incarceration for drug trafficking, how he started doing comedy, and his eventual release from prison.

Ali Siddiq gained popularity after Katt Williams‘s controversial interview in January on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe. Siddiq and Williams had previous issues before Williams’s discussion with the NFL Hall-of-Famer, which dissed the biggest names in comedy, such as Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, and Tiffany Haddish.

Katt Williams’s Club Shay Shay interview is the highest-viewed video on YouTube. The interview led to a rap beef between Williams and Ludacris. The two traded diss verses, with Williams premiering his verse on Suge Knight’s podcast over Ludacris’ classic “Number One Spot.”

Ali Siddiq shared his issues with Katt Williams on the Willie D Live podcast in 2023. Ali claims Williams prevented him from performing a set at a past Williams show in Houston, Texas. Katt Williams responded to Siddiq’s interview, claiming Ali’s story was mere accusations during a conversation with Willie D after Club Shay Shay.

Katt Williams released his latest Netflix special, Woke Folk, in May. The stand-up special received mixed reviews following Williams’s mention of Tory Lanez.

Ali Siddiq is on the road with a new comedy tour called “I Got A Story Tell,” which started in May. The tour is set to run until the end of the year, and complete dates have been shared on his Instagram account.
