Remy Ma’s Son Charged with Murder

Authorities have charged rapper Remy Ma’s 23-year-old son, Jayson Scott, with first-degree murder for the 2021 fatal shooting of Darius Guillebeaux in Queens. Scott and Richard Swygert were arrested on Tuesday night. The police are still investigating the motive behind the shooting, initially believed to be due to a dispute. Authorities have held Scott in custody since May 9 on separate gun charges and set his bail at $500,000. Remy Ma’s attorney, Dawn Florio, stated that they believe the allegations are unfounded and are committed to proving Scott’s innocence.
