Sexxy Red hits back at claims of being a CIA plant promoting “degeneracy,” who unlike her peers, namely Megan Thee Stallion, openly embraces her sexuality.
Over the weekend, the “Get It Sexyy” rhymer faced some heat over her overall vibe and lyrical content.
“I don’t like Sexyy Red and it has nothing to do with respectability politics. Her entire brand is degeneracy,” the viral post reads. “It’s not owning her sexuality like Megan nor does it offer authenticity like Glorilla. She gives me CIA vibes.”
True to fashion, the St. Louis native swiftly responded: “Fawk u btch.”

No stranger to controversy, earlier this month Sexyy Red had fans raising eyebrows over a giant MAGA-inspired hat she used as a prop during her set at the 2024 Roots Picnic.
In the video clip, posted by The Neighborhood Talk, the 26-year-old can be seen performing her hit song “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad)” at The Mann Center in Philadelphia during the festival. However, it wasn’t her stage presence but a stage prop — a hat that seemed to reference former President Donald Trump with the slogan “Make America Sexy Again,” — that grabbed fans’ attention.
“I know what that hat says. It’s clearly MAGA inspired because she’s a Trump supporter,” alleged one user, referencing Trump’s famous slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
Adding, “Sexyy fans just dumb as she is if they think they can gaslight people. Says a lot about one’s character if they go out of their way to defend this lady….”
“I see some of you said you over her now because of this 😂😂 THIS IS WHAT DID IT?! You seen the other ish and was like YASSSS but the red hat did it 😂😂,” another commented.
Upon learning of the controversy, the red-haired rapper commented directly below the post (X/Twitter, too), asserting that she does not endorse any political figure.
It’s worth noting that Sexyy Red previously expressed support for Trump, stating on the This Past Weekend podcast, “I like Trump.”
“Yeah, they support him in the hood. At first I don’t think people was f**king with him. They thought he was racist, saying little s**t against women. But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving people that free money. Awe, baby, we love Trump. We need him back in office.”
