Offset clears up rumors that he called the police on Nicki Minaj’s husband.
We previously reported that according to court documents obtained by TMZ, Kenneth Petty violated his federal probation by “making threatening remarks while in the company of someone with a criminal record.”
The documents state that Petty’s probation officer “believes placement in the Location Monitoring Program will effectively allow for closer monitoring of Mr. Petty’s activities, limit his movements, provide a sanction for his non-compliance, and hopefully encourage him to reflect upon and reevaluate his current status in the community.”
The conflict started after videos of Petty surfaced online of he and some of his friends allegedly posted outside of a NYC hotel sending threats at Offset. In one clip he can be heard saying, “plan that vacation, you gonna be planning your funeral p***y!”
During a recent interview, Offset was asked if he was the one who called the authorities on Petty. “Hell naw. Police ain’t never calling me. I ain’t got no number for ya…I would never do no lame-*ss sh*t like that. I’d rather keep it in the street than do some sh*t like that. All that sh*t a joke. Grown-*ss man doing sh*t like that…I just laugh at sh*t like that.”
He continued, “I’m 30 years old. You know how long it took me to get away from that – that b*llsh*t online? I’m just too old to participate in sh*t like that. I think sometimes n*gg*s want you to be tough. But when you crash out they call you stupid.”
