Boosie Badazz Reveals He Was Hospitalized Due To High Blood Sugar

Yesterday (Aug. 28), Boosie Badazz took to social media to reveal that he was recently hospitalized due to his high blood sugar.

“Shout out to the nurses and doctors at Baptist Memorial Hospital for getting my blood sugar down and getting me out!” the “”Wipe Me Down” rapper wrote in an Instagram post. “No DKA, just had to get some bags of fluids — been to six states in four days — [and] doctors say I need rest. I agree. Headed back home thanks to this big a** bed, and I heard it’s [gonna] be raining in the A.

During an interview with Vlad TV two years ago, Boosie revealed he has been suffering from diabetes since he was a teenager. “I don’t know, I was druggin’ and thuggin’,” Boosie stated when the host asked about the trigger that led to the medical condition. “I was sippin’ syrup, X pills, codeine, PCP. I was tearin’ my body up.”
