Tamar Braxton says singer James Wright was assaulted at her show by Chrisean Rock.
A member of Tamar’s team initially revealed that Chrisean came to Tamar Braxton’s L.A. tour stop and showed out. He alleged that she assault James Wright after there was a misunderstanding.“I just want to let yall know that that girl Chrisean yall keep hyping up assaulted James Wright Chanel at Tamar’s concert tonight. James is in the hospital. I swear I will do everything to make sure she goes to prison. She is trash and that’s why her life is the way that it is. She deserves every bad thing that happens to her.”
James also spoke out following the alleged altercation. Though he didn’t mention any names, it can be assumed he’s referring to Rock. “Everybody wanna tell stories and tell they versions…I was an innocent bystander,” he said in complete darkness. “You know, you still gotta keep joy and stuff…I don’t know what be wrong with people.”
He went on, “All I did was went to work, chile…y’all already know what type of person I am…but let me tell you what ain’t nobody gone do…ain’t nobody gone take my joy…my praise…my worship…y’all should see my f**ing face, and I still got joy.”
Before deleting all her social media accounts, Chrisean, also defended herself following the incident. “I been brought up before and I know how it goes a certain way…false narratives saying ‘this happened,’ ‘she did that.’ I don’t know. I think it’s just a clout chasing thing…honestly, I need to start protecting my name,” she said.

Tamar Braxton also spoke out about the incident. She says she was simply trying to show Chrisean Rock love. “I care about my team; they’re all of my friends. We put this all together for the fans.”
