Earlier this week the Memphis Grizzlies announced that Ja Morant sustained a torn labrum in his right shoulder and will be out for the rest of the season.
The player shared a heartfelt message while laying in a hospital bed. The message read, “what you went through has a purpose. So does your life. Focus on your life’s purpose and you will get through this trying time.”
It’s unclear if Morant has yet to undergo surgery. However, according to reports, the Grizzlies player is expected to make a full recovery and return next season.
