Joe Budden has some more words for Ari Lennox.
We previously reported that Ari Lennox and Joe Budden exchanged in a back and forth before Ari threatened to take legal action against Joe in order to prevent him from speaking on her further. “I don’t know what Joe Budden’s obsession is with me, but what I will say is that somebody needs to tell him to stop touching them dogs,” she began. “He’s weird and he’s gross. He has smoke mouth. He’s disgusting! And he’s a failure like Drake said.”
While on Instagram live she continued, “I can never just express what’s going on with me without him coming from behind…the landfill that he lives in to say something…This man has never, ever in his life validated the truth…he just loves to oppose everybody…he’ll never acknowledge the truth. I can’t ever just talk to my people without him just being psychotic.”
Joe responded to Ari’s comments via his podcast. Refuting her claims he says, “I don’t f*ck dogs. I’m not here to talk to the people who believe I abused the very women I have taken care of. It’s just not who I am. It’s not who I’ve been.”
Following the exchange, Joe later “apologized” to Lennox.. sort of. He says, “In a[n] industry that has historically not been great to women, now is not the time for any woman out there to feel like they are under attack, unheard or not seen,” he said. “And if I’ve ever added to that, then I want to do my best to change the trajectory.”
His apology then took a turn when he says Lennox attempt to demean and defame a Black man, “while summoning the powers universally of Black women, while simultaneously bigging up a white man who fetishizes..all on Martin Luther King Day.”
“This chick is a bag of f*ckin’ mixed nuts — mixed nuts come from everywhere,” he said. “This bitch is all the nuts combined and I think she’s done a great job of proving the exact point that I was trying to make in the last broadcast, and we shower her with love.”
