Benzino makes it clear that he loves his daugther, Coi Leray, however he will not be following her on Instagram.
During an interview on No Jumper, Benzino explained why he simply cannot follow Coi on her social sites. “I can’t follow her Instagram because she could be in a bikini twerking or something,” he said. “I love her to death. I want to be able to visualize her the way I want to visualize her as my daughter, not necessarily as an artist or as Coi.”
During a previous interview, Benzino opened up about his relationship with Coi. “I got thick skin, man. I’m one of those people like, let’s just forget it and move forward.”
“I went through a lot, man,” he said while crying. “And it was hard for me to be looked upon — like I’ve been called all kinds of shit, but a deadbeat dad? Come on, man. I love my daughter. I don’t want to be that. I don’t want to be known as that. I don’t care what people think, but that hurt me. That’s my daughter, I raised her.”
