Congratulations are in order for Russell Wilson as he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
We previously reported that Wilson was released from the Denver Broncos after just two seasons. the Broncos shares a statement following Wilsons release, “on behalf of the Broncos, we thank Russell for his contributions and dedication to our team and community while wishing him the best as he continues his career,” general manager George Paton and coach Sean Payton said in a joint statement.
“As we move forward, we are focused on building the strongest team possible for the 2024 season and beyond. We are excited to improve this offseason and will have the flexibility to get better through the draft and free agency.”
The football player is seemingly excited for his new home in Pittsburgh. He shared a video via Twitter with the caption, “New Threads!”
His wifey, Ciara, shared her support for her hubby. She commented on his new post with writing “new uni!!” with the heart eyes emoji, and a black and yellow heart emoji to match his new jersey.
Wilson will be rocking jersey number 3. Congratulations to the player.
