King Combs released a new song on Sunday (May 12) targeting 50 Cent, inheriting his father’s beef with the mogul.
Several trending topics and phrases were addressed in the untitled track, including “No Diddy,” New York Hip Hop, and recent lawsuits. DJ Akademiks premiered the song on his live stream, which opens with King Combs lullabying, “On our downfall, another time again / After the rainfall, the sun gon shine again / Don’t bust no u-turn cause we ain’t forgettin’ sh*t / And to all ya’ll that switch … SUCK MY D*CK.”
Diddy appears on the track’s ad-libs while his son defends the family name. “I dare one of you n***a scream out ‘No Diddy’ (F*ck that N***a up) / Brought blow with me / Baddies ready to go with / I just nod and they know go gett’em.”
King Combs then rapped about 50 Cent, stating: “When all they had was 50 Cent, who put the city on the map, stop lyin’ / Pops been hated on by many men and n***a that’s fine / They gon try to stop these MMs / And they gon die tryin’ / Pull up to the Southside / We locked in, we got ties / Don’t give a f*ck about no blogs cause we really outside.”
King Combs also addressed federal agents raiding his father’s properties in March. Diddy’s sons were handcuffed and escorted out of the L.A. properties during the televised raid.
About the raid, King Combs raps: “Police raid the crib like they think we selling crack, but we out here selling tracks / multimillion dollar plaques … Too bad they ain’t no we brought the one next door because that’s the one they missed.”
King Combs signed to Bad Boy Entertainment in 2016 with a promise to keep the Bad Boy name alive heading into the new era. Diddy and his son have shared the stage on multiple occasions, including the iHeartRadio Music Awards and Diddy’s Lifetime Achievement ceremony at the BET Awards in 2022.
Diddy and 50 Cent have been frienemies for decades. 50 has been trolling Diddy since the sexual assault lawsuits became public with plans to produce a documentary similar to Surviving R. Kelly. 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend, Daphne Joy, is named in Diddy’s lawsuit by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones.
50 responded to King Combs’ diss on social media Sunday evening, mocking Diddy’s son with the following tweet:
“I feel so threatened by the things Christian is saying on his record. I’m afraid for my life, please don’t hurt me guys. I never mentioned or posted anything about puffy’s kids because KEEFE D said he killed 2Pac. LOL.”
50 released a couple more Instagram posts targeting King Combs and his father that appear to suggest sexual assault. In the caption, 50 wrote, “Damn @kingcombs that what you told Grace O’Marcaigh on that boat huh, gave her the puffy juice with that special sauce in it. LOL BOY OH BOY! BAD BOY FOR LIFE!”
50 added in the third post: “Now why would you say some shit like this when you know the FEDS are investigating. IS YOU STUPID OR IS YOU DUMB? LOL”
A new lawsuit filed in April accuses King Combs of sexually assaulting a woman working on his father’s charted yacht. Diddy is named in the lawsuit as a co-defendant, which adds to the mogul’s other legal drama that continues to accumulate after settling a lawsuit with ex-girlfriend and singer Cassie Ventura for an undisclosed amount in November 2023.
Diddy filed a motion to dismiss, with prejudice, last Friday in a Jane Doe sexual assault lawsuit.
