Megan Thee Stallion has been under a management deal with Roc Nation for several years, expressing deep gratitude and a sense of security in her partnership with Jay-Z’s team. In a conversation with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay, she revealed how being managed by her idols has been transformative for her career. “Never did I ever think that I was actually going to be managed by the people that I looked up to,” she shared, emphasizing the familial atmosphere and the wisdom she gains from their experience.

“They’re just so intelligent—they been through everything. They still going through it right now. But they just know how to carry it,” Megan remarked about Roc Nation. She highlighted feeling supported and protected, appreciating how they handle criticism and challenges with resilience.

When asked about seeking advice from Jay-Z regarding going independent, Megan explained Roc Nation’s encouragement for her to navigate her career independently. She also credited Beyoncé for inspiring her to venture into entrepreneurship with her own tequila brand, Chicas Divertidas. “I felt like they definitely put me in a position to learn how to be my own boss,” Megan concluded.
