Despite being public knowledge, Drake’s legal history became a trending topic on social media over the weekend when a user shared his court cases. Fans reacted with mixed emotions.
An X user, @AcademyHustler, tweeted a screenshot of the civil name search of Certified Lover Boy creator, real name Aubrey Graham, on July 18. The post reads, “Aubrey Drake Graham. Interesting amount of cases in Los Angeles alone… Don’t even get me started on Atlanta, Toronto and Houston.”
The screenshot shows 15 cases naming Drake from 2013 to 2024. The case types range from small claims to intentional bodily injury to wrongful termination. After Los Angeles, the user continues with a post of Drake’s Toronto cases.
“Ontario case dump involving either Aubrey Drake Graham, his companies, his uncle Stephen Sher, or other persons of interest,” wrote @AcademyHustler.
Fan reactions ranged from annoyed to intrigued. One user wrote, “Obsessed behavior fr. Get some fresh air,” while another wrote, “Bro the beef is over y’all still trying to keep it alive.”
Another user commented, “Lemme save this so I can be nosy and troll.”
“His documentary will be insane!!!,” said an X user in the comments.
To the upset Drake fans, another social media user commented, “So yall call cry when he ‘acts tough’ but when theres proof u cry again.”
Others mentioned throughout the series of tweets include OVO members Chubbs, Sabah Nissan, BakaNotNice, and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. A 2019 court document naming Beckham Jr. and Drake over battery charges was uploaded to the series of tweets with the user writing, “Odell Beckham – Aubrey Drake Graham …. Battery… Assault… At DELILAH’s? That’s why Drake released WAH GWAN DELILAH so when you google Delilah and Drake, this case doesn’t pop up right away, showing how his crew beat up on the staff there.”
The user didn’t leave the 6 God’s rival, Kendrick Lamar, unnoticed as he shared a screenshot with cases involving Mr. Morale. Tweeting, “This is all of Dot’s for EVERY STATE. Not just California which he only had a couple in. Less than 10 in all of America. Lmao. And above I posted Drake’s for Ontario and Houston and California and it’s insane how many more he has lol.”
All cases against Drake and Kendrick Lamar are filed claims that do not admit guilt.
Kendrick Lamar addressed Drake and his OVO members’ court cases on the diss tracks “Euphoria” and “Not Like Us.” Last week, “Not Like Us” topped the Billboard charts after a concert and music video.
Drizzy has not responded to the social media tweets and reactions from fans.
