Flavor Flav makes a splash at the 2024 Paris Olympics, rubbing elbows with Capitol Hill’s elite and winning over Dr. Jill Biden.

On Saturday (July 27), the 65-year-old Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav and 73-year-old First Lady Jill Biden shared a memorable moment from the 2024 Paris Olympics, as he sponsors the U.S. women’s water polo team. Their heartwarming interaction was captured in a video that has since gone viral on social media.

“These girls are my girls, they work hard,” says Flav of the three-time gold medalists, following a tight squeeze with Biden and a meet-and-greet with her family.

“@flotus Dr. Jill Biden for all the support of you and your family [praying hands, heart emoji],” he captioned the post.

Taking to her own socials, Biden jumped on the bandwagon, reposting the video and writing, “The duo you didn’t know you needed. Love you @FlavorFlav and thank you for all of your support for women’s @USAWP. Let’s go @TeamUSA!”

In related news, On Friday (July 26), the highly anticipated Paris 2024 Olympics kicked off, featuring top athletes from around the world competing in a range of summer sports. At the helm of the excitement was the iconic Snoop Dogg.

“Did somethin today,” wrote Snoop alongside a snapshot of himself in a red, white, and blue Ralph Lauren uniform, holding the torch in the pouring rain. “Raindrops falling on my head, but we still playing to win, baby.”

In a second post, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rhymer can be seen showcasing his dance moves. The ultimate host was even spotted busting a move with Hoda Kotb, grooving to Lady Gaga’s smash hit.

In an interview with AP News earlier this week, the multi-hyphenate expressed his gratitude toward the U.S. and France for the opportunity.

“I look at this as a prestigious honor and something I truly respect. I would have never dreamed of nothing like this,” he said. “I’m going to be on my best behavior. I’m going to be on my best athleticism. I’ll be able to breathe slow to walk fast and hold the torch with a smile on my face, because I realize how prestigious this event is.”

Snoop Dogg, among others are currently in Paris to help cover the Games for NBC, as part of the network’s strategy to boost ratings by blending pop culture with its coverage.
