Sexyy Red responds to rumors that she’s set to perform at the Donald Trump’s presidential rally in Atlanta.
“Sexyy Red is rumored to perform at Donald Trump’s presidential rally this Saturday, August 3rd, in Atlanta, Georgia” tweeted @Theepopfeed.
Red clearly had time as she immediately shut down the rumor. “Dey fakin dats cap..” she tweeted.
Although Red is not performing at the rally- she is headed on her own tour titled the Sexyy Red 4 President tour.
We previously reported that the “Rich Baby Daddy” addresses claims of potentially canceling her upcoming concert due to low ticket sales.
In a series of tweets the St. Louis rapper expresses, “My fans are buying tickets we’re doin just fine we not cancelling no tour dis cancelling sht all cap.”
Her response in response to the Art of Dialogue’s X page tweeting “Sexyy Red’s Upcoming Tour Is Reportedly On The Verge of Being Cancelled. Only 37.11% of the 85,217 Tickets Have Sold.”
Sexyy continued: “Dis how Dey try to do u wen u go wit an independent promoter n the bigger companies try to sabotage u we not cancelling sht,” she added.
“I did my touring deal with a black promoter black owned company AG Entertainment. And now Dey playin dirty paying pages spreading fake news to discourage my fans from buying tickets.”
She also reposted a tweet that read, “Y’all misinterpreting her tweet. She [is] not blaming the Black-owned company. Red [is] basically saying the other companies [are] trying to spread false narratives about the tour because she working with them.”
The tour announcement comes after Red’s mixtape, In Sexy We Trust, and it’s set to kick off in Seattle on August 22, 2024. It will end in Nashville on October 1, with 26 shows. The tour will include Hunxho, Loe Shimmy, and BlakeIANA. Kodak Black was also reportedly added to the tour.
