Cardi B provides more details on the “freak accident” that nearly led to a miscarriage.
On Thursday (August 8), the mom-to-be opened up on X Spaces about the “freak accident” that nearly caused a miscarriage, revealing how she felt “paralyzed” and “couldn’t move for two days straight.”
Bardi, 31, explained, “I was going down the stairs and I slipped a little. I practically fell, but I was trying to prevent myself from falling, so I was holding myself on the railing. My foot still slipped, and I kind of busted my ass.”
“I felt a weird jerk, like a pop, and I couldn’t get up really,” she continued.
After “screaming” for her dad, who rushed over to “try helping me get up and move out the steps,” Cardi B notes, “I noticed that I couldn’t really walk, like I was feeling pain in my, I don’t know, in the lower of my stomach.”
Cardi B, who revealed she is carrying her baby “a little low,” initially felt “a little pain” after a fall and decided to take a nap. However, upon waking, the “Bodak Yellow” artist found herself unable to move and “felt like paralyzed,” leading to a hospital visit where she discovered she had “torn a ligament in my pelvis” and was experiencing contractions every two minutes for over 24 hours.
She went on to emphasize the severe pain she experienced, being unable to move for two days, which led to bed rest and therapy. Cardi underscored her seriousness about the situation, telling critics, “You don’t even know what the f— is going on or what I’m going through.”
Despite their separation, Cardi B and Offset are expanding their family with a third child. Cardi B, who announced her split from Offset after seven years of marriage earlier this week, revealed her pregnancy shortly after. Although she didn’t initially disclose the father, court documents confirm it’s Offset. Cardi is also seeking financial support from Offset for their three children, including their two existing kids, Wave Set and Kulture Kiari.
