When it comes to Vybz Kartel.. Cardi B doesn’t play.
While on X Spaces, Cardi B clapped back at fans who poked fun at Kartel’s recent appearance. “I do not play about f***ing Vybz Kartel,” Cardi B began.
“When I see y’all f***ing Americans… No offense, no offense. I mean, I’m American, but when I see y’all talking about f***ing Vybz Kartel, I be getting upset ’cause, like, not too much. Not too f***ing much. Mind your f***ing business. I do not play about f***ing Vybz Kartel, b***h. At all. At all. I do not, I do not, I do not.”
We previously reported that Kartel was released from prison on August 1. In a statement obtained by Fox 5 New York, the Jamaican rapper said “a grace injustice was done to me and my [co-defendant] accused in the original trial.”
The statement continued: “some people have expressed their concern to me that a retrial may be ordered, but to them, I say (albeit with my limited knowledge of the law) what is there to retry?”
Kartel also gives fans an update on his health. In 2010, Vybz began facing a diagnosis of Graves’ Disease. “Healthwise, you know I’m working on my health right now,” Kartel said. “But the feeling of just being free is just an amazing feeling.”
Graves’ Disease is described as an autoimmune disorder that can cause hyperthyroidism or overactive thyroid. “The thyroid is a small, butterfly-shaped gland in the front of your neck. Thyroid hormones control the way your body uses energy, so they affect nearly every organ in your body, even the way your heart beats,” according to the National Institute Of Health.
