Nicki Minaj has announced that she’ll release a deluxe version of her Pink Friday 2 album. On Tuesday (Aug.20), the Queen rapper jumped on X to share the news with her fans. While she didn’t share a date per se, she did say she would keep her Barbz “posted” with any updates. “Barbz relax it’s just a deluxe,” she began. “I love it tho. I love it so much. I’ll be performing 2-3 songs from this version of the album on the PF2 #GagCityReloaded TOUR. Release date = I’ll keep you posted.” Minaj also thanked the Barbz for “inspiring” her.

Last December, Nicki Minaj dropped off Pink Friday 2, making it her fifth studio album. The project worked as the follow-up to 2010’s Pink Friday. Guest appearances ranged from J. Cole and Drake to Monica and Keyshia Cole. Upon its release, Pink Friday 2 debuted at No.1 atop the Billboard 200. The album also sparked several hit singles, including singles, “Super Freaky Girl”, “Red Ruby da Sleeze,” and “Everybody” ft. Lil Uzi Vert.

Nicki Minaj Takes Her Barbz To Gag City Once Again

In other news, Nicki Minaj recently jumped on Instagram Live to commiserate with her Barbz and surprise them with new music. Well, sort of. The rapper shared a snippet from a track she recorded with WizKid nearly eight years ago. It’s unclear why the project never came out, but judging by her fans’ reactions, it might be coming soon. Currently, Nicki Minaj is touring across the US on her Gag City Tour.

She recently announced the start of the second leg of the tour, named “Gag City Reloaded.” She’s expected to make pitstops in major cities like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, NYC, and Miami. The tour is scheduled to conclude in October. Minaj, of course, shared the news with her fans in an Instagram post. “Let’s just say you won’t wanna miss it,” she began. “Y’all know I’m an honest pink lady. #GagCityReloaded will be a beautiful, magical dream come true. Better than the 1st half & that wasn’t easy to do.”
