Juvenile caused a stir on a recent American Airlines flight when he left the plane after a seating disagreement. The New Orleans rapper was in first class when he was informed that he had been downgraded to coach. The altercation was documented in a video recorded by Juvenile himself.

In the clip, Juvenile’s wife is seen arguing with the airline crew, who are asking the rapper to vacate first class. Juvenile can be heard saying, “They trying to kick me off the plane, y’all. They trying to take me out of first class.” When his wife questions where he would be seated next, a staff member responds that he would be moved to coach. Juvenile reacts, “They ain’t putting me in no coach, man! This ain’t never happened to me in my life. Man, y’all tripping. I’m a celebrity — there’s going to be repercussions to be this.”

He continues, “I’ma get off the plane. I ain’t gonna let y’all disrespect me like that. I’m not gonna let you choose me out of all people on the plane and disrespect me, so I’ma get off the plane. It’s kinda funny to me, I ain’t gonna lie.” Juvenile then stands up, collects his belongings, and exits the aircraft.

Following the flight incident, Juvenile shared a post detailing his history of first-class travel, highlighting numerous tickets purchased over time. He vented his frustration online, saying, “Fuck American Airlines. All the money I spent with you bitches. They trying to put me in coach. I ain’t never flew coach. Fuck y’all, I feel played.” He also mentioned that he would be switching airlines for future travels as he prepared for his next performance in Fort Worth with Mannie Fresh.

American Airlines responded with a statement, noting, “American Airlines strives to provide a positive experience to every traveler and we apologize for Mr. Gray’s [Juvenile’s] recent experience with us. An unplanned change in aircraft type affected his seat assignment, and we regret he wasn’t notified prior to boarding. A member of our team has spoken with Mr. Gray personally to resolve the situation.”
