During a 10-minute rant on Thursday evening, Lil Yachty revealed he has ended his podcast, cut ties with his co-host, and beefed with former artist Karrahboo. Yachty’s rant is a response to backlash over a viral clip from his “A Safe Place” podcast where he appears to disrespect Mitch for allegedly not having a purpose. Lil Boat questioned why Mitch did not clear up the clip, which leads to him ending the podcast and friendship.
A moment before addressing Yachty’s co-host, Yachty addressed Karrahboo and her reasons for leaving Concrete Boys. Yachty told the story of her sudden departure on Thursday, claiming that she verbally abused people. Rumors circulated for weeks regarding her sudden departure.
“Go ahead and tell people how you talk to people,” said Yachty on Karrahboo. “How you tell my security guard, ‘You homeless?’… You talk to people like they’re nothing! You talk to people like they’re small, like they’re beneath you. Tell people how you verbally abuse people.”
Then he revealed he wrote and arranged Karrahboo’s popular On The Radar freestyle along with her likeness and image. “I wrote every fucking verse you’ve done,” he says. “I dressed you. I dressed all five of y’all n***as bro. I dressed five n***as every time we stepped out the house. I put an outfit on everybody. I put eight carats of earrings on everybody ear. I put three chains on all y’all neck.”
He added: “We bought a Cartier watch. I gave you that chrome Rolex, bro. You was waiting tables… What are we talking about n***a? I changed your mother fucking life and you are hear lying, talking about some: ‘we bully you’. That shit got me fucked up, bro. You got me fucked up, bro. You disrespectful bro. You talk to people crazy. You tell people that they are nothing. You tell people you’re going to spit on them. You tell people they poor and you talk to my fucking label crazy. You claim I was stealing money…”
Yachty would refute Karrahboo’s claims that he stole money by claiming she is in debt to him. “I got every receipt. $900,000 Concrete in the hole.”
Lil Yachty concluded his address to Karrahboo by explaining how he created her sound and providing audio examples. He says, “I slowed the beat down, I put 808s specifically on your verse so when it got to your part and the beat dropped, everyone would be like, ‘this girl is the craziest one.’”
Karrahboo will be touring with Latto and Mariah The Scientist in October to support Latto’s new album, Sugar Honey Ice Tea. She has not responded to Yachty’s rant yet.
On Mitch, Yachty claimed he only created their popular podcast upon his former friend’s request. “I need to do something in life,” says Yachty on Mitch. “Help me out. I said, ‘alright, you know what, I’m give you a platform. I’m find someone to sponsor … we gonna make a podcast. I aint want to do no motherf*cking podcast n*gga, Im a f*cking rapper… I did the podcast for Mitch. I put $400,000 in Mitch pocket…”
While Mitch hasn’t responded to the rant yet, allegedly his ex-girlfriend would fire shots at Lil Yachty on X and threaten to reveal unknown information about the rapper and Concrete Boys. Yachty would address Mitch’s ex after he caught word.
