The incident, which occurred in 2022, shows the rapper being pulled over for speeding at 84 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone. The bodycam video, which surfaced online on August 23, features Carti and Ken Carson in the vehicle with a few others, including a woman who speaks incoherently during the stop.
As seen in the footage, Carti explains to the officer that they were “trying to get straight back home.” He steps out of the car for processing and later returns to his vehicle.
