Wu-Tang Clan Shakes Up Hilfiger’s Fashion Show

Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring 2025 show set sail on the MV John F. Kennedy, a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry owned by Colin Jost and Pete Davidson. While Jost attended as expected, it was Wu-Tang Clan’s surprise performance that truly stole the spotlight, bringing the star-studded event to a climactic close.

The night was already buzzing with celebrity guests, including Olympic gymnasts Suni Lee and Gabby Thomas, and Hollywood stars Brooke Shields, Shay Mitchell, Damson Idris, Tinashe, and Madelyn Cline. K-pop idols Blackpink’s Jisoo and Stray Kids’ Felix and Lee Know caused a stir as well, igniting excitement among photographers and fans alike.

However, the real energy shift happened when Staten Island’s own Wu-Tang Clan took the stage to perform their iconic hits “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Ice Cream.” Celebrities and fashion editors alike scrambled to get the best view. Even Brooke Shields couldn’t resist the hype, handing her phone to a friend to capture the moment she posed with Raekwon.

Hilfiger’s nautical-inspired collection, with fisherman sweaters, capri pants, and trench coats in red, white, and blue, perfectly matched the maritime setting. But Wu-Tang’s performance transformed the evening into something beyond a fashion show, making it a cultural moment that left even the most seasoned guests in awe.

Jost and Davidson, who purchased the ferry for $280,000 in 2022, had originally intended to turn it into an event space. Davidson later joked that they were “very stoned” when they bought it, while Jost admitted he was sober but unsure if that made their decision worse.

Regardless, with Wu-Tang Clan rocking the ferry and a packed A-list crowd, their first big event was a massive success.
