Casanova reveals Tory Lanez sent him money while they’re both behind bars.

In a post shared by DJ Akademiks, Cass says via Instagram, “@torylanez you one of the realest niggas I ever met” he wrote. “How you in jail looking out for a nigga in jail? Sent me enough money to last me for a whole year lol,” the rapper added. “I love ya heart, I love ya soul. Free us til you see us!”

Casanova is currently behind bars for a racketeering conspiracy case.

Tory Lanez speaks:

We previously reported that Tory Lanez had a slight set back in prison as his studio equipment was confiscated.

According to reports, prison guards recently raided Tory Lanez’s cell block and confiscated all of his studio equipment. The rapper’s team was reportedly told that he was not allowed to record while in cell.

The “Say It” rapper has since released a statement following the confiscation. “The rumors are true. ‘The Prison Tapes’ will be discontinued until further notice. However, I think it’s important that my fans know the truth about the crooked *ss sh*t that’s REALLY going on here. My cell was not raided and trashed because I learned how to record myself in prison or because I created ‘The Prison Tapes. I was shut down because the “HIGHER UPS” figured out what I was really doing with ‘The Prison Tapes’ and how many inmates were being helped in a life changing way because of them.”

“Although the “HIGHER UPS” have stopped ‘The Prison Tapes’ temporarily, they were too late to stop my overall plan. Since the month of July, l’ve afforded legal representation for 472 inmates and actively reopened 476 cases. … Lastly, they know I’m a threat and they don’t want me saying or doing this so if ANYTHING happens to me, just know I went out in the blaze of glory trying to revolutionize the end of a mass incarceration era on our people.”
