50 Cent shared a since-deleted comment on Instagram Tuesday evening (Oct. 8) that Sean “Diddy” Combs will receive bail at his next court hearing after multiple reports that the mogul’s legal team has prepared a third bond proposal.

On a post including several vintage clips of Diddy mentioning 50 Cent and Jay-Z by the Instagram account @InternetMoneyWest, 50 commented, “Diddy gonna make bail his next court date. So all this sh*t y’all been saying, keep the same energy [raised eye-brow face emoji]. Don’t you even try to take that post down! @bransoncognac.”

A motion for bail filed by Diddy’s lawyers with the 2nd Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals surfaced on social media Tuesday. In the court documents, the mogul’s team claims his innocence and stated that he had been cooperative with authorities before his arrest. It reads: “Long before his indictment, Mr. Combs took numerous steps demonstrating his trustworthiness and commitment to providing his innocence in this case.”

Diddy was arrested on September 19 in Manhattan on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He was denied bail twice by the case’s original judge. A new judge was assigned to the case on October 3. Last week, Diddy added two more attorneys to his legal team in Alexandra Shapiro and Anthony Ricco.

Combs is being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits trial. The mogul’s bail proposal follows the announcement that 50 Cent will executive produce a Netflix documentary. In July, 50 shared The Hollywood Reporter that he and Diddy were never friends and never attended a mogul’s party.

“I’ve been very vocal about not going to Puffy parties and doing shit like that,” he said, recalling his early interactions with Combs. “Let’s Get It,” but has since kept his distance. “I’ve been staying out of that shit for years. It’s just an uncomfortable energy connected to it.”
