Cardi B expressed outrage after police and Child Protective Services arrived at her home late at night following an anonymous allegation of child abuse, which she claims was the work of a “prankster.” The incident left the rapper furious, and she wasted no time announcing her intent to pursue legal action against both the authorities and the individual responsible for the false report.

Despite feeling ill and struggling to breathe, Cardi took to Instagram Live on Monday (October 21) to address the situation and issue a strong warning. “Y’all have taken this too far,” she began, her frustration evident. “When you mess with my kids, I swear I’m going to get to the bottom of it.”

She explained that the anonymous call led CPS to her home—her gated mansion—at 11 p.m. while her children were asleep. “For Child Protective Services to come to my house at 11:00 p.m. because of an anonymous call claiming my kids are being abused… are you dumb?” Cardi said, clearly appalled by the situation.

The rapper didn’t stop there, vowing to take legal action. “I promise you, I’m going to sue CPS for showing up at my house at that hour,” she declared. “And I’m suing the person who made that anonymous call. As soon as I wake up, I’m calling Drew Findling [her celebrity attorney], and I’m hiring the best private investigator in the country to get to the bottom of this.”

Cardi B also highlighted the racial undertones of the incident, noting that her family is “the only colored people in the neighborhood,” and that this type of false accusation felt like it crossed a line. She expressed anger over the situation, but was resolute in her plan to seek justice.

In her impassioned livestream, Cardi defended her and Offset‘s parenting, insisting they are great parents who would never harm their children. “We don’t play that. My kids live great. They’ve never been touched, never been hit. No matter how annoying they are, I’ve never hit my kids,” she stated.

The rapper’s reaction to the incident underscores her fierce protective instincts as a mother and her refusal to tolerate false accusations, especially those that involve her family. As she moves forward with her legal plans, it’s clear she intends to hold those responsible accountable.
