As a mother of two boys, Rihanna appears to plan for more children in the future, including a daughter. In a candid interview with Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier, the icon was asked if she would like a daughter someday, to which she replied, “I want a girl.”
Excited by the possibility, Rihanna added: “I wouldn’t even know what to do with a girl since I only know boys so far. It would be a whole new adventure.”
During the interview, Rihanna discussed raising two sons with ASAP Rocky. “The boy energy is the best. I live for it,” Rihanna shared. “There’s never a dull moment. I love when they’re climbing off chandeliers. They scare me to the point that I’m forced to have fun! Running around, lifting them up—it’s all fun and even keeps me in shape. It’s the best workout, for all of us.”
Also this month, Rihanna spoke to Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans about motherhood on the red carpet for her Savage x Fenty line launch at Nordstrom. “It’s so fun—I truly enjoy it,” she said with enthusiasm. “Watching them learn and discover the world amazes me. Even when they test boundaries, they’re teaching me as much as I’m guiding them. It’s a journey we’re on together, and it’s beautiful.”
As much as Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have talked about their best collaborations being their children, fans have still been waiting for new music from the duo. The couple has mentioned preparing new albums in 2024, with ASAP Rocky announcing a release date and then delaying it.
The couple discussed marriage in August. At the time, a source close to them told media outlets, “These two are so madly in love, and it’s true there’s a lot of buzz in their circle about an engagement being in the works.”
