A man posing as Sexyy Red’s manager has been arrested, on charges of armed sexual battery and false imprisonment with a weapon on Tuesday (October 29).

According to WPLG Local 10, Vladimir Joseph identified himself as a “promoter” on the arrest report.

Miami Gardens Police said the sexual assault took place on May 27. The victim was working an event for Sexyy Redd at the Booby located in Miami-Dade County.

As she waited outside, Joseph allegedly pulled up in a gray Lexus and said his name was “Alexander Beamer,” Sexyy Red’s manager.

Joseph then allegedly put a gun to the victim’s head and forced her to take cocaine.

“Take it or I will kill you,” Joseph allegedly said.

Th police report says that Joseph made the victim walk upstairs where he raped her “for several hours.”

Joseph is also accused of recording the sex acts by using two separate cell phones. He then “forced the victim to take a shower and continued sexually assaulting her again.”

Following the alleged assault, the victim left in a Lyft that was ordered by Joseph. Because he shared the ride details, the victim could identify Joseph and pinpoint where the alleged incident occurred.

The victim then went to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment at the Roxcy Bolton Rape Treatment Center, where staff collected a rape kit.

The police report states that the woman tested positive for drugs but results from the DNA test were redacted from the arrest report.

At the police station, the woman was able to pick Joseph out of a photo lineup as the assailant.

On Tuesday, law enforcement said that Joseph turned himself in to the Miami Gardens Police Department accompanied by his attorney.

In an email to the news channel, a rep for Sexyy Red said “Vladimir Joseph is not her manager.”
