Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign revs up with celebrity support as we reach the finish line with rap stars Cardi B, GloRilla, and Flo Milli set to attend the upcoming Milwaukee rally on Friday (Nov.1).

According to the Harris-Walz campaign, these influential figures “are trusted voices for millions of Americans, who engage with their music, follow them on social media, or draw inspiration from them.” GloRilla, who collaborated with Cardi on the hit “Tomorrow 2,” recently voiced her support for Harris in a social media post, encouraging her followers to vote for the Democratic nominee.

The “TGIF” rapper highlighted critical issues like abortion rights, LGBTQIA+ protections, a higher minimum wage, and enhanced funding for public education as vital reasons to cast their votes. Earlier this year, GloRilla met Harris at the White House’s Women’s History Month reception, where she also posed for photos with President Joe Biden. In a memorable clip circulating online, Biden even reimagined the lyrics from GloRilla’s popular track “Yeah Glo!” to celebrate her visit.

While Cardi has been a vocal critic of both Donald Trump and Biden in the past, she has openly expressed her support for Harris, suggesting that the vice president should have been the Democratic nominee for 2024. Reflecting on Harris’s decision to take on a more central role, Cardi remarked, “It should’ve been your moment, Kamala, and you know it. You know you want to be the [expletive] president.”

Cardi went on to say, “In the next four years, it’s going to be hard for you to run for office again. This was your moment. You should’ve told [Biden], ‘Listen, I’ll get you a [expletive] wheelchair, and you get the [expletive] on. It’s my turn now.’”

In recent months, Cardi has continued her public endorsement of Harris, sharing a clip of the vice president’s recent diplomatic exchange with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In that meeting, Harris notably called for a ceasefire in Gaza, emphasizing her commitment to peace and stability on the international stage.
