Cardi B has another run-in with a blogger on social media.
In a heated X (formerly Twitter) Spaces rant on October 31, Cardi warned YouTuber Armon Wiggins to stop disrespecting her, reacting to recent comments in which he called her “fake” and “phony” for supporting Vice President Kamala Harris. This was reportedly the last straw for the “Bodak Yellow” creator, who felt Wiggins repeatedly antagonized her.
“I’m not gonna keep letting somebody think they can disrespect me or bully me,” Cardi said. She emphasized that she had spoken with Wiggins before in an attempt to handle things maturely.
“If you don’t respect me as an adult, that means I have to treat you the way I treat people in the streets.” Cardi added that derogatory comments are unacceptable. “When someone’s calling me ‘b####, hoe,’ I don’t care if you’re like me. Don’t ever disrespect me like that if we’re not cool. I’m not letting someone keep disrespecting me.”
The award-winning entertainer accused Wiggins of repeatedly provoking her and alluded to situations where she had discouraged others from retaliating against him. “Stop playing with me. This is coming from me, not anybody else. Leave me alone, because I promise you, on my kids, people tell me where you’re at whenever you go out. But I don’t act on it. Don’t push me there.” Cardi also referenced her gang ties in a warning, saying, “Stop playing with the Brim!”
In response, Wiggins posted a public apology on X, saying he wanted no issues with the rapper. “I don’t want any problems. If you feel like I ever used derogatory words toward you, I apologize. I don’t want to fight.”Cardi B is set to speak at Vice President Harris’ campaign rally in Milwaukee on November 1.
