Diddy’s Thanksgiving dinner might be a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and fruit if he doesn’t secure a bond before the holiday. TMZ reports that if the music mogul remains at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, his holiday meal options are less than ideal.
The facility’s Thursday menu starts with breakfast, featuring fruit, cereal, pastries, and skim milk. Lunch offers a more festive spread, including turkey roast, hot & sour tofu, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, dinner rolls, and holiday pies. However, dinner takes a nosedive with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, potato chips, whole wheat bread, and a fruit beverage.
Diddy is currently fighting for release after his initial request for house arrest in his Miami mansion was denied by Judge Arun Subramanian last week. In his latest proposal, Diddy hopes to spend the holidays at his Upper East Side apartment under strict conditions. These would include 24/7 security, no internet or phone access except to communicate with his attorneys, and pre-approval for family visits.
A final decision on his bond request is expected Monday, leaving Diddy’s Thanksgiving plans uncertain. For now, he faces the possibility of spending the holiday in jail with a PB&J dinner instead of enjoying a traditional Thanksgiving feast.
