Flo Milli kept it candid during her appearance on Yung Miami’s “Caresha Please,” which aired Thursday night, December 5th. The “Conceited” rapper opened up about various topics, including her experiences with colorism, the constant comparisons among female rappers, and personal milestones in her life.

Around 17 minutes into the discussion, Yung Miami addressed the perception that Flo Milli is “underrated” due to her darker skin tone. Reflecting on the topic, Flo Milli shared, “It’s different for me to digest because I feel like I’ve made it so far, and coming from where I come from, where I am now is an accomplishment. It was kind of triggering to get on the internet and be ridiculed for that.” She further explained her eye-opening realization about colorism, tracing its roots back to historical injustices: “They made us think our skin color was an issue, and that taught our people to make it an issue.”

Social media users have often compared Flo Milli’s career trajectory to Ice Spice, whose rapid rise in 2023 with “Munch (Feelin’ U)” earned her co-signs from major stars like Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift. Some fans speculated that Flo Milli’s darker complexion may be a factor in the disparity. However, she quickly dismissed such “tired a**” narratives, focusing instead on her personal and professional growth.

During the interview, Flo Milli also hinted at her pregnancy while discussing her current relationship. “Everybody’s FBI agents on the internet, but he’s not in my [social media] follows, so y’all not going to find him that way,” she said. She revealed that her boyfriend is an artist and shared her hopes for the future, including having up to two children, ideally starting with a boy.
