“Please note, all official updates regarding OG Maco’s health will come directly from his official social media accounts. This will be the only source for valid information.

“We thank you for your understanding, support, and continued prayers during this difficult time.”

The 31-year-old artist was found unresponsive last week, and rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he remains on life support. According to reports, a firearm was recovered at the scene, and Maco was immediately taken into surgery upon arrival at the hospital.

The incident has prompted an outpouring of support from fans and collaborators alike. Longtime producer Kino Beats took to Instagram to call out misinformation surrounding the rapper’s condition, writing, “All these fake blogs got something to say now, but where were they when we needed support? Fake industry, fake people, fake love.”

OG Maco has left a lasting imprint on the hip-hop landscape. As one of the first artists signed to Quality Control, he helped shape the label’s identity while influencing a new generation of talent. Known for his breakout hit “U Guessed It,” Maco has also collaborated with celebrated artists like Mac Miller, Larry June, and Doja Cat, solidifying his role as a trailblazer in modern rap.

In reflecting on his struggles, Maco once stated, “I don’t mind. Just remember, I never did a thing to you. To see a world where the do-ers and dreamers are ridiculed more than losers and conformity is worse than missing an eye.” These words resonate deeply as fans rally around the artist during this critical time.
