After 20 years of marriage, their divorce is finally OVER!
TMZ reports Dr. Dre settled it by striking a property settlement agreement. According to the publication, Nicole only gets a fraction of his estate.
Dre agreed to pay Young $100 million. She’ll get $50 mil now and $50 mil a year from now. Nicole didn’t get half of everything due to the prenup she contested. As a result, Dre gets to keep seven of the properties they own, including a Malibu home, two homes in Calabasas, and four properties in the L.A. area, including the $100 million Brentwood estate TMZ reports.
Dre gets full rights to his master recordings, trademarks, and interests in various partnerships and trusts. Nicole was fighting the courts for that ownership, but ultimately she lost. In addition, Dre keeps all of their Apple stocks, which includes the proceeds from the sale of Beats by Dre.
As far as the cars, Dre gets six, Nicole receives four. The courts allowed her to keep all of the money in her account and jewelry since marrying Dre. However, Nicole racked up millions in legal fees, and she must pay it.
Dre’s net worth is estimated to be $820 million.
