R. Kelly has been found guilty on all charges in the racketeering and sex trafficking case.
Kelly was convicted of nine counts, including racketeering, kidnapping, bribery, sex trafficking, sexual exploitation of a child, as well eight additional counts of violation of the sex trafficking law, the Mann Act.
According to reports, the jury made up of seven men and five women began deliberations on Friday afternoon. Kelly was originally acquitted of child pornography charges in the Illinois state trial.
Following the trial, R. Kelly’s lawyer shares Kelly’s reaction to the charges. He says, “Mr. Kelly is disappointed. He was not anticipating this verdict.”
