News sources report Durk’s brother, OTF DThang, was shot and killed. DThang, born Dontay Banks Jr., was reportedly found dead near the 7900 block of S. Loomis Blvd. in Chicago, TMZ reports.
The details surrounding the incident are not precise as of yet. It’s not clear if DThang was Durk’s blood brother or close friend. In an IG post on DThang’s page, he shared a picture with Durk and said, “we came a long way from granny crib.”
The two were recently spotted at a birthday party for Quality Control’s CEO Pierre “P” Thomas in Atlanta. XXL reached out to Durk and his team for comment, nothing yet.
It’s been rough for Durk. Earlier this year, he also lost his close friend King Von. XXL notes in 2014, Durk’s 21-year-old cousin, OTF NuNu, was also shot and killed in Chicago.
