Tupac’s Estate Creates A Poetry Contest In His Honor

April is celebrated by many as National Poetry Month and in honor of that, Tupac Shakur’s estate has decided to create a contest in his honor. The contest calls for all poets to submit their work. The pieces must be about how Tupac inspired them.

With these submissions comes rules. The submissions cannot have explicit lyrics this includes sexual. The lyrics also cannot have any derogatory comments of race, gender, ethnicity, religion and more.

The winners of the contest will receive merchandise inspired by the rapper’s poetry.
