The 45th President, Donald Trump, made alarming comments this week that could have an impact on your life. In just three days, Trump tweeted about his plans to stop immigrants from coming to America, end birthright citizenship, and he made an insensitive comment about the 11 people who were killed in Pittsburg on Oct. 27.
1. Trump wants to send troops to the Mexican borders to prevent immigrants from entering our country.
CNN reports that up to 15,000 soldiers are going to guard up to 3,500 migrants heading to America. 5,200 troops have already been sent. According to the article, the Pentagon released a statement saying, “the number of troops deployed will change each day as military forces flow into the operating area, but the initial estimate is that the DOD will have more than 7,000 troops supporting DHS across California, Arizona, and Texas.” The Pentagon claims the mission will provide “assistance” but Donald Trump’s speech & tweets tell a different story.

2. Trump tweeted that birthright citizenship will be “ended one way or another.”
He announced that he wants to sign an executive order that stops giving citizenship to children born in America by parents who came here illegally. If Trump made this executive order, it would go against the 14th Amendment.
“The 14th Amendment — which declares, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside” — cannot be changed by executive order, or even by an act of Congress. It would require a constitutional amendment.” [via Fox]
Trump won’t get very far because it’s unconstitutional, but he still wants this to happen and as he said, it’ll happen “one way or another.”

3. Trump showed no sympathy for the victims killed in Pittsburg by an anti-semtic.
On Oct. 27, one of the deadliest attacks in America on the Jewish community happened in Pittsburgh. 11 congregates were killed at a synagogue and four officers were wounded from a gunman. The assailant went to the Tree of Life Congregation and sent shots that turned a peaceful morning into a horrible devastating tragedy.
Trump shared his thoughts via a tweet but showed no compassion to the victims. He mainly made it about himself.
