Woah…. Remember that time a fan Tweeted a caption that got both Lupita and Rih Rih’s attention?
Let us remind you that back in April this happened: “Rihanna looks like she scams rich white men and Lupita is the computer smart best friend that helps plan the scans.”
Lupita then responded by tagging Rihanna saying “I’m down if you are” then Rihanna replied “I’m in Pit’z.”
Well According to Entertainment Weekly, Ava Duvernay took full advantage of the conversation and Netflix bid the highest therefore the ‘buddy film’ will begin production in 2018.
It is said that ‘Insecure’s’ Issa Rae will write the screenplay.
You see what great things come from social media?
Let’s hope that the originator of the tweet gets a cut of the deal too.
