Friday night (Feb 25) was a special night in hip hop!
After teasing it on social media, Swizz Beatz and Just Blaze faced off in a live beats battle in New York City. The two spent hours going back and forth battling on who has the beats beats in their career catalog.
And oh what one hell of a catalog it is.
With Swizz Beatz being down with the Ruff Ryders crew and Just Blaze bringing his unique style to the Roc-A-Fella crew in the late 90’s, early 2000’s some of their production will stand the test of time in the genre.
Ironically enough, their best tracks may have come under Roc-A-Fella and Jay Z!
