The LOX shocked the music world after announcing they were going to sign with Roc Nation.
As part of the deal, the legendary group released their second album under the name titled Filthy America… It’s Beautiful.
Look back 10 years ago, and the team was down with DMX, Swizz Beatz, and the Ruff Ryders crew. Swizz Beatz sat down with DJ Whoo Kid on his show The Whoolywood Shuffle, and explained that there is one thing he never wants to see.
“I just don’t want nobody throwing up the Roc sign,” he said. “I just don’t like that part. Jay is family and everybody family, but throw up the R, please. Don’t get too excited. Fuck that. I don’t care what the deal is. We ain’t doing that. They ain’t throwing up no Ruff Ryders. Let’s keep it hip-hop. Keep it business.”
Seeing them throw the Roc sign is kind of weird.
DMX shared a photo of the crew on his Instagram just last night.
