Nicki Minaj released it today, September 1. The video is fun, and Nicki makes her barbie house come alive.
Fans see Nicki in her barbie girl world. Nicki also has a Ken in the video that she seduces, and he enjoys every moment of it. He’s played by The Hunger Games actor (Cato) Alexander Ludwig. Take a look:
Nicki dropped “Super Freaky Girl” on August 12, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song earned Nicki her first-ever solo No. 1 and third overall. In 2020, “Trollz” and Doja Cat’s “Say So” also went No. 1.
“Super Freaky Girl” made history, it’s the first time since Lauryn Hill’s 1998 “Doo Wop (That Thing)” that a hip-hop song by a solo female artist debuted at No. 1. It’s currently certified gold, and the announcement was made today.
The Queen also released the Roman (her alter ego) remix to “Super Freaky Girl. In addition, she dropped a compilation album last week called Queen Radio: Volume 1. It features hits like “Moment For Life,” “Beez In The Trap,” “Starships,” “Anaconda,” and more. Earlier this week, she received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs.
