Hot 97 and Hennessy V.S.O.P. Privilege teamed up with the Institute of Culinary Education to chef up and explore the stories behind your favorite Hot 97 DJ’s and personalities as they reveal their favorite Home Grown dishes
On the second episode of “Home Grown” celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, DJ Enuff decides to create one of his favorite desserts to celebrate his native Puerto Rican culture.
“It makes me feel good.”
First, Enuff stepped right into the kitchen with the help of Institute of Culinary Education to create a fresh, homemade Crema de Chocolate that made him think of home. Plus who doesn’t love some chocolate?
The ingredients included some milk, brown sugar, cocoa powder, cocoa bean, milk chocolate, orange zest, vanilla, cinnamon, eggs, and panela for a bite that sent him right back into the island of Puerto Rico.
After a nice dessert, there was nothing more perfect than combining it with a tasty Hennessy V.S.O.P. drink which makes for the perfect ending to a great dinner. Enuff accurately names it “The Big Spanish.”
Join in on the fun, and see exactly how they made these tasty treats so you can one day try them at home too!
