Kanye West may be “separating” himself from politics, but it doesn’t mean he still doesn’t want to help.
Mr. West took to social media to express that doesn’t want to be “used” anymore when it comes to politics. He decided to fall back Ron supporting Trump after realizing that he was used to spread messages that he “doesn’t believe in.” This isn’t stopping the Chicago rapper from helping a candidate in his hometown.
My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!

Kanye West has donated a total of $200,000 to Chicago mayoral candidate Amara Enyia. Last month, West donated $73,540 to Enyia’s campaign because she needed to settle a $73,540 debt to the Illinois State Board of Elections stemming from filing fees and penalties never paid that must be resolved before going forward with the election. This week Yeezy made another donation of $126,540.
A spokeswoman from Enyia’s campaign said, “Kanye has an interest in investing in Chicago, his hometown, and is welcome to act on those interests at any time. We think it is valuable that he is able to focus his efforts on his creative work and on supporting the platform that he believes will help move our city in the right direction,” reported on Billboard.
