50 Cent is not here for it!
As reported on Hip Hop N’ More, the surgeon who saved 50 Cent’s life from nine gunshots, Dr. Moses deGraft-Johnson, pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges. The cardiovascular surgeon based in Tallahassee is also accused of aggravated identity theft.
Dr. Moses deGraft-Johnson admitted to getting paid at least $29 million for medical services he never performed and overcharging for others, totaling up to 58 counts of healthcare fraud. The report says according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he “used churches, nursing homes, and at least one hospital to find vulnerable victims, many of whom were subjected to invasive and unnecessary procedures.”
He was also in charge of the Heart and Vascular Institute of Northern Florida in Tallahassee and was accused of writing false claims to health insurance agencies. Dr. Moses deGraft-Johnson did this for his personal use, and it amounted to nearly $30 million. There were instances the doctor would claim was doing a procedure in his office but he was really traveling across the globe. He went to places like Spain, the United Kingdom and Ghana, according to court documents, the article says.
50 Cent reacted to the news via Instagram. He said,

50 got shot nine times in 2000 while he was living in Queens, NY, sitting in a friend’s car. 50 Cent was shot in the hand, arm, hip, both legs, chest, and left cheek. Alleged shooter Darryl ‘Hommo’ Baum (who was later killed in what police believe to be a retaliation shooting), used a 9mm handgun.
