Some conspiracy theorists believe Ray J is responsible for igniting the Notorious B.I.G. beef with Tupac.
Ray J was trending on social media for a few reasons. As reported on Hot New Hip Hop, Ray J spoke on growing up around hip hop legends like Suge Knight and Snoop Dogg during an interview. He also told a time when he was 15 and walked in on Faith Evans, who was with Biggie at the time, sitting in Tupac’s lap. The article points out, Ray J said,
“We walked in one day, and Faith was sitting on Pac’s lap while Pac was writing a verse. It was like, ‘What the f–k is going on?”
A tweet from a blogger named @thelaunchmag made a post about the anniversary of when Tupac dropped “Hit Em Up.” In his posts, he tells the “story behind the story.” In his Tweet, he said,
“25 years ago today Tupac drops Hit Em Up
Faith says nothing happened
Snoop’s cousin is running around Death Row
He’s only 15
He says he saw Faith sitting on Tupac’s lap in the studio
Wait a minute, ain’t that.” Take a look:
