Cordae dropped his first single since dropping the YBN from his name!
“Gifted” has a feature with Roddy Ricch. It’s produced by Ray Keys, Bongo, and Cordae The Fader reports. The dope track celebrates where the two rappers are now and how far they’ve come. They trade melodic verses, reminiscing on life before fame. The visual reflects the same thing as the pair walk down an old neighborhood and end up in a mansion in Hollywood Hills.

Cordae dropped the YBN from his name after his group allegedly split earlier this month for an unknown reason. It just seems like musically, everyone was going in different directions.

Cordae has also been involved (always has been) in the Black lives matter movement. He was arrested in July when dozens of people gathered in front of Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s house to demand justice for Breonna Taylor and to hold the officers who murdered her accountable. Other celebrities like Trae Tha Truth, Porsha Williams, and Yandy Smith were arrested and later released.
