Dave Chappelle is letting fans in on a little secret about the beloved Idris Elba.
Over the weekend, on Saturday (May 8th), Dave Chappelle dropped by The Joe Rogan Experience and spoke about a bunch of different things including, the importance of treating-service workers with kindness. He mentions that this simple act of politeness is such a big deal because you just never know who somebody is going to turn out to be one day.
He used Idris Elba as an example claiming, “Idris Elba, the famous actor, used to be a security guard at Caroline’s [comedy club]… I used to buy weed from him.” Making it clear that although Elba once sold him cannabis, he surely has come along way and is currently one of the best actors of our time.
