Meek Mill is letting you know, “don’t sleep on YouTube producers!”
The Philadelphia rapper recently dropped bars over a “Meek Mill type beat” on YouTube. The instrumental was created about seven months ago under the name “Free Meek Mill x Kur Type Bear 2020 Vision.” It’s not clear how Meek found the beat, but that’s pretty dope for the producer of it. Meek shared it online and said, “I smoke YouTube beats too.” Take a look:

Meek’s last project was his fourth studio album, Championships, 2018. Meek also makes his acting debut in Charm City Kings, a film based on a famous bike crew, Baltimore’s 12 O’clock Boys. The story is about a boy named Mouse, played by Jahi Di’Allo Winston, who is a 14-year-old who aspires to join the dirt bike crew the Midnight Clique. Meek portrays the leader of the Midnight Clique crew, Blax. Blax ultimately ends up taking Mouse under his wing.
Charm City Kings premiered at the 2020 Sundance Festival in January and will be released on October 8, on HBO Max. It was produced by Will Smith And Jada Pinkett-Smith, alongside teen actor Winston.
